At Lucy Golden Girl Co., we believe that every pet deserves comfort, quality, and a touch of luxury. Inspired by my beautiful service dog, Lucy, our brand was born out of necessity and love. Lucy, a smaller golden retriever, accompanies me everywhere as my service dog, and while her companionship is priceless, her shedding was a challenge. Finding clothing to help manage shedding was difficult—especially apparel that fit well, looked stylish, and felt luxurious. So, I began creating custom pieces for Lucy, and from there, Lucy Golden Girl Co. came to life.
Our name is a tribute to Lucy, named after two of my favorite icons: Lucille Ball, whose humor and spirit have always inspired me, and the "Golden Girls," featuring the iconic Betty White, a lifelong animal advocate. These inspirations embody the joy, elegance, and compassion we aim to infuse into our brand.

Meet the Founder
Clemente (Clay), an educator by trade with a lifelong love for animals. Growing up, he dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, but he knew his heart couldn’t bear the emotional toll of losing pets. Instead, his journey took him around the world as a teacher at international schools, where he encountered unique pet products and styles that inspired his creations. Now, with Lucy Golden Girl Co., he is able to combine his passion for animals with his creativity to bring joy to pets and their owners.
