Return and Refund Policy

At Lucy Golden Girl Co., we value our customers and aim to ensure you’re completely satisfied with your purchase. Below are the terms and conditions for returns, exchanges, and refunds in compliance with US laws.

RETURNS

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Eligibility for Returns:

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unworn or unused, with all original tags attached, and in their original packaging.

  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

  • Items must be in re-sellable condition (unwashed, undamaged, and clean).

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Custom or personalized products: This includes made-to-measure items and products with specific lining choices.

  • Items purchased on sale or at a reduced price.

  • Items sold in-person are sold as seen and are non-returnable unless faulty or damaged at the time of sale.

  • Gift cards and perishable goods cannot be returned.

Requesting a Return:

  • All returns must be pre-approved. Please email us at lucyandclay@lucygoldengirl.com to initiate your return.

  • Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

  • Unless the item is faulty or an error on our part, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Return Conditions:

  • Returns must be made via a trackable shipping service, as we cannot process refunds for items lost in transit.

  • Items returned in used or unclean condition may be rejected or subject to a $5.00 cleaning fee.

REFUNDS

Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we will notify you of the refund status:

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days to your original payment method.

  • Please note, it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.

  • If more than 30 days have passed since we approved and received your return, please contact us at lucyandclay@lucygoldengirl.com

 

We cannot process any refunds requested more than 28 days after delivery.

Order Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be requested within 5 days of purchase.

  • If the order has already been handmade or started, cancellations cannot be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us immediately at lucyandclay@lucygoldengirl.com so we can evaluate and resolve the issue.

Exchanges

  • For online purchases: We do not offer direct exchanges. Please return the unwanted item and place a new order.

  • For in-store purchases: Exchanges may be accepted for unused items with original tags and packaging. Exchanges will not be accepted for made-to-measure or personalized items.

Responsibility for Product Use

  • General wear and tear is not eligible for refunds or replacements.

  • We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, unsafe storage, or pet use.

  • Products found to have a genuine fault will be inspected, and a resolution will be provided.
